On the Rocks

I leave my panels around the studio and I can't leave them alone. I look at them and in the course of a few days, I see one thing out of wack...rework just a little. Much Improved. jb

Those Hills


I am working on a series of hills and fields, trying to edit as much as possible and loosen up. These particular ones I try to capture in every kind of weather in every possible light. Just a calm exersize in stressful times...a parent in end-stage Alhizimer's, sometines all I can do is to paint those hills. Forgive me if ten versions pop up. jb

Small Cove


Here, the coastal ranges abruptly stop and fall into the sea. Left to the sea to wear themselves out, small coves shelter the sea's secrets.
I find water hard to capture, but I'm always drawn to it. jb
